CARE has been actively participating in the move to ban the horse-drawn carriage industry from Philadelphia.
A number of our members have attended vigils in Philadelphia and plan to continue participating and helping
in whatever capacity they can.
Horse are herd animals. They are meant to live in the wild with others of their kind not spend their lives forced into the lonely labor of pulling carriages along city streets. Help us ban the industry and send the current horses to sanctuaries as well as prevent future horses from being brought into this miserable existence.
